This is the hub page for
Susan's dad and hubby's books.
A Fortune in Scrap shares Ken's secrets of where to find "hidden" treasure. Ken ran a successful "scrap yard" back in the UK. He demolished old factories piece by piece; along with bridges - and railroad tracks. Nothing went to waste. My dad was recycling before it was 'cool.'
Fast-forward forty years: When hubby and I married, he came to live with me in my small home (on acreage). He soon learned the joys of mowing acres of grass, and mastered my dad's big backhoe (showoff!). He also chronicled the plethora of plants and insects that also love living on acreage.
Susan Gast created this site primarily to showcase her plethora of books. Then she realized it was about time to add how she created those books and got them to market. Read Susan's story here.
Susan is featured on Mother Earth News blog, and on Solo Build It (SBI) who host this site. Read her first SBI interview, and her second SBI interview.
Since 1980, Susan's involvement in publishing - in one form or another - led her to create a "review site" of products related to the publishing industry. Visit ePubTechReviews today. Since 2010, Susan has owned and operated Easy Food Dehydrating - also hosted by Solo Build It.
